II - General provisions for online sales
The present general terms and conditions of sale (or GTC) define the contractual provisions between :
on the one hand,
BEL SA La Maison de La Vache qui rit (hereinafter referred to as: the seller), represented by BEL SA

and, on the other hand,
any natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as: the buyer) wishing to :
- buy entrance tickets for La Maison de La Vache qui rit, and other animations.

I - Online ticket sales
Article 1. Nature and availability of tickets sold on the Internet
1.1 The following services may be offered on the online ticket sales site:
- entries
1.2 The website informs the buyer of the availability of these services at the time of placing the order.
The number of tickets sold online per reservation and per person may be subject to a limitation indicated on the website.
The "Shopping Cart" page allows you to check the content of the current order.
As long as the payment has not been registered, the content of the order can be modified.
Article 2. Tariffs
2.1 Prices are set, in euros, by the management of La Maison de La Vache qui rit.
The applicable rates are those in force at the time of registration of the order.
2.2 The buyer who is likely to benefit from a reduced rate or free of charge must present to the reception of the establishments the corresponding proof of name, valid and accompanied by an identity document bearing a photograph. In the event of non presentation or non-conformity of the proof or identity document, access will be refused and no reimbursement will be made.
Article 3. Presentation of the ticket purchased online and conditions of use
3.1 The ticket can be printed after receipt of the order confirmation email, after validation of the payment. It will be sent as a pdf attachment via a second e-mail.
The ticket must have been printed by the buyer prior to the visit, on blank white A4 full-page paper on both sides, without changing the print size. Partially or poorly printed, soiled, damaged or illegible tickets are invalid. The buyer is obliged to check the number and condition of tickets purchased online and printed.
Tickets can also be presented on a smartphone.
In the event of a forgotten, damaged, incorrectly printed or illegible ticket, the ticket will be considered invalid and non-refundable.
3.2 The essential features of the Ticket are :
- the nature of the service associated with the ticket
- the price in euros all taxes included
- the date and time of the start of the service
The ticket purchased online is valid exclusively for the service and date indicated.
In the event of failure to comply with the time indication, the purchaser may be refused access and is subject to the same conditions of access as visitors without a ticket for access to the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Buyers holding an e-ticket may go directly to the ticket office to benefit from "queue cutting".
3.3 The ticket is personal. It includes the price applied at the time of online purchase. Proof of the fare obtained must be presented at the museum reception desk at the time of the visit. A valid identity document with a photograph may also be requested from the bearer. As the admission ticket is valid for the day, the bearer may have to be checked several times at the different access points to the museum.
3.4 Access to the service is subject to a barcode ticket validity check. The ticket is checked and registered using readers. The first person to present the ticket is presumed to be the rightful bearer. Any other person who presents the ticket at a later date shall be refused access to the service.
3.5 Visitors must carry their ticket with them throughout the entire duration of the event.
3.6 Anyone who illegally reproduces a ticket and/or uses a counterfeit ticket is liable to prosecution.
3.7 In the event of failure to comply with any of the conditions set out in this article, the vendor reserves the right to refuse access to the service concerned.
Article 4. Terms and conditions of order
4.1 The Buyer shall make the online ticket purchase as follows:
- Access to the site
- Choice of offer
- Choice of price and quantity of tickets desired
- Selection of the desired date and time of the visit
- then continue purchasing or finalize the order
- An order summary is displayed before the purchase is confirmed.
- Validation if the order matches. Otherwise, return to the ticket selection.
- Creation of a customer account or connection to your already created customer account
- Payment of the order by credit card by identifying yourself, if necessary, by a code transmitted by your bank.
4.2 If the payment is accepted by the Merchant Processing Centre, the order confirmation is displayed. The purchaser receives an order confirmation e-mail and an e-mail with the tickets for the services purchased.
Article 5. Requests for cancellation and reimbursement
5.1 Distance selling of tickets or services related thereto shall be regarded as the sale of leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period. In this respect, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the online sale of these tickets and any associated services does not give rise to any withdrawal period.
5.2 By purchasing a full-price ticket online, the purchaser waives the benefit of any reduction or free of charge to which the ticket holder may have been entitled for the chosen service.
Several partnerships are indicated on the online sales site. In order to benefit from these partnerships and thus obtain a preferential rate, the purchaser must purchase his/her tickets on site when he/she comes.
5.3 Tickets purchased online are not refundable, modifiable, exchangeable or resaleable except in the event of cancellation by the seller of the corresponding service.
In this case, the buyer must make their request by mail within three months from the date of cancellation or modification of the service (with presentation of the ticket, order number and bank details) to the address specified at the beginning of this document.
In all cases, reimbursement, modification or exchange will be made to the exclusion of any other indemnity or compensation.
II - General provisions for online sales
Article 6. Orders
6.1 Any order on the pages of the site dedicated to the online sale of tickets is exclusively governed by these general terms and conditions of sale which apply by right and without restriction.
6.2 The buyer acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions of sale prior to validating his/her order.
Validation of the order and online payment shall constitute acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale without exception by the buyer.
6.3 The seller reserves the right to adapt or modify these general terms and conditions of sale at any time. In case of modification, the applicable conditions are those in force on the day the order is recorded.
6.4 Ticket ordering operations on the site require the prior creation of a customer account and adherence to the corresponding special terms and conditions of use.
The buyer creates a customer account or connects to his customer account by entering an e-mail address and a password.
The creation of the customer account supposes the communication of the information necessary to the treatment of the order: name and first name of the purchaser, postal code, city, country, date of birth, telephone and e-mail address.
6.5 The site, source code, texts, images and other elements of the site are the exclusive property of the seller. The entire content of the site is protected by copyright legislation. As such, and in accordance with the provisions of the intellectual property code, only private use of the site is authorised. Otherwise, the offender is liable to prosecution before the competent court.
Article 7. Terms of payment
7.1 Payment by the buyer shall be made by credit card, exclusively in euros. The payment cards accepted on the site are : Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron and CB.
7.2 Payment is validated according to the 3D-secure Standard and after acceptance of the transaction by the Payment Centre in charge of controlling the purchase authorisation threshold of the payment card and checking the list of stolen or lost payment cards. In the event of refusal by the Payment Centre, the order is cancelled.
Once the payment has been validated, the buyer will receive a confirmation email.
7.3 As soon as the payment is accepted, the buyer receives two emails, one summarizing his order (order confirmation), the other containing his tickets to download in pdf format.
7.4 In accordance with the banking regulations in force, the archiving of banking data is currently fifteen months from the date of the transaction. After this period, the data is destroyed.
Article 8. Secured payment
The seller implements all means to ensure the confidentiality and security of data transmitted by buyers on the site.
The buyer's bank details are protected, since only the payment agreement codes issued by the banks are kept.
As such the site uses a secure online payment system to encrypt the information during its transfer between the computer used by the buyer and the payment server.
Article 9. Method of payment - Payment - Invoice
9.1. Payment transaction
The buyer guarantees to the seller that he has the authorizations possibly necessary to use the chosen method of payment.
The buyer is invited to print the proof of the transaction which will be displayed on the screen after effective payment of the order.
9.2. Proof of sale
At the time of purchase, the buyer receives an e-mail with the proof of sale.
Article 10. Challenging a bank debit
10.1 In the event of a dispute due to the theft or loss of the payment card, the purchaser must immediately lodge an objection by calling the number indicated by the bank issuing the payment card. In case of theft, a complaint must be filed with the competent authorities.
10.2 In the event of a dispute due to anomalies noted by the purchaser on his account statement, while he is still in possession of his payment card, the purchaser must immediately file a complaint with the bank issuing the payment card. The complaint is transmitted via the banking network to the seller. In the case of a justified complaint, the order is given to the seller's account keeper to make the reimbursement by crediting the buyer's bank account.
Article 11. Liability
11.1 Except in the event of a malfunction of the site for which it is responsible, the vendor cannot be held responsible for any anomalies that may occur during the ordering, processing, downloading or printing of the ticket, attributable either to the buyer, or to the unforeseeable and insurmountable event of a third party not involved in the service, or to computer or server breakdowns or the blocking of telecommunications, including networks and in particular the Internet.
11.2 Hypertext links may refer the buyer to other websites other than the website. The seller disclaims all liability in the event that the content of these sites contravenes the legal and regulatory provisions in force.
11.3 The seller cannot be held responsible for the use of the tickets or products purchased, including in the event of loss, theft or use of copies without the buyer's knowledge. The buyer is solely responsible for their use by himself or by a third party, including within the premises of the establishment.
Article 12. Force majeure
Neither the seller nor the buyer can be held responsible for any non-performance that would have its origin in a case of force majeure.
Without this being restrictive, are considered as cases of force majeure, in addition to those usually retained by the jurisprudence of French courts and tribunals: total or partial strikes internal or external to the company, blocking of means of transport or supply for any reason whatsoever, governmental or legal restrictions, computer breakdowns, blocking of telecommunications including networks and especially the Internet.
Article 13. Evidence - Preservation - Archiving
The computerized registers, kept in the seller's computer systems, under reasonable conditions of security, shall be considered as proof of the contract of sale, its date, orders and payments between the parties.
The archiving of orders and invoices is carried out on a reliable and durable medium so as to correspond to a faithful copy, in accordance with article 1348 of the Civil Code.
Article 14. Protection of personal data - Right of access
14.1 Only the information and data necessary for the management of the order, the completion of the transaction, the information and the relations with the seller are requested from the buyer.
14.2 The processing of this data is governed by the same system as the general lamaisondelavachequirit.com website.

Article 15. Cookies
15.1 To facilitate the buyer's navigation on the site, the seller uses cookies.

Article 16. Integrity of the general terms and conditions
The parties to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTS), acknowledge that these conditions constitute the entire agreement between them.
If for any reason one of the clauses of these documents should be declared inapplicable, it shall be deemed to be unwritten without invalidating the GTC or altering the other provisions.
Article 17. Applicable law - settlement of disputes
The present general conditions of sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the buyer is informed that he can resort to a conventional mediation procedure or any other alternative means of dispute resolution.
The courts of Nantes are then solely competent to settle disputes arising from the application of these general terms and conditions of sale.
Article 18. Application in time
The present conditions are applicable as of July 20, 2020.
